We have been here a number of times and have always been happy with the service and the food. The staff upfront have always been friendly and helpful. The portions are generous, and the food is always served hot. Tasty, and a good value.

I am in the area for desserts and decided to pick up some lunch on the way back. The store is clean, workers are friendly and I especially like the self order kiosk. Very efficient for those who want to quickly order and beat the line. Always fresh and delicious food served here!

Soooo happy I came in today. I was served by Ms. Connie and she let me know the shrimp screwers were back in rotation. Happy days at California Fish Grill. I am a regular and I've been waiting for this day.

I tried its grilled mediterranean sea bass today. Good flavor and I actually like the attached skin; however, a little salty. Loved the coconut shrimp!! For sides, I ordered the street corn which is a little spicy; the balsamic glazed brussels sprouts are OK. Please skip the fries if you are order to-go; they became sadly soggy.

I haven't been to a CFG for a while, so I didn't know that the orders for pick up are no longer placed out on the counter for people to identify for themselves. I ended up waiting few minutes because I didn't realize I had to ask for my order. At least there were plenty of open seats where I could wait. It was mostly empty when i got there. It's very clean and cool inside. I tried the Salmon Miso Bowl for the first time. I really liked the citrus miso sauce but there was something spicy in it that I didn't think was needed. Anything spicy should be in the description; it doesn't say anything about this in the listed ingredients. The slaw was nice, tasty, and crunchy. Sadly, my salmon was a little bit dry but it's almost a given that restaurants always over cook salmon. I think that a fish place should know better. It's sort of hit and miss with CFG with salmon. But I keep trying! Overall, CFG is a good go-to for a simple, reasonably priced meal.
